Jaisalmer Fort

Jaisalmer Fort is the famous landmark of the city and one of the largest forts in the world. It is one of the oldest and massive forts of Rajasthan which is an example of the magnificence of Rajput rulers of the period. Unlike other forts in Rajasthan Jaisalmer Fort houses museum, shops, restaurants, residential accommodation, hotels, etc.

Patwon Ki Haveli

It is the second major tourist attraction of Jaisalmer after Jaisalmer Fort. Patwon ki Haveli is just not a single building but a combination of five buildings that are distinctive in its own way. It is famous for its unique architecture and design.

Sam Sand Dunes

Located in the midst of the Thar Desert, Sam Sand Dunes among one of the famous ones in Rajasthan. It is a one of the major tourist attractions of the city and famous for camel safari and camping. It is 3 km long, 1 km wide and half a kilometer high and located 42 kms on the outskirts of Jaisalmer.

Jain Temples

Jain temples are situated in Jaisalmer Fort and is a must visit site. It is built in the Dilwara style and famous all over the world for its architecture. This a group of Jain Temples dating back to 12th and 15th centuries.

Gadsisar Lake

Gadsisar Lake is an artificial lake which was built on 14th century by Mahrawal Gadsi Singh. This lake is the right place for bird watching as it located near Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary so several colorful birds visit around the lake. Gadsisar Lake is a must visit in Jaisalmer if you want to see the serene beauty of the golden city.

Nathmalji Ki Haveli

Nathmalji temple is highly appreciated for its marvelous artchitecture and intricate carvings. The imposing structure of Nathmalji Ki Haveli adds to the glory and grandneur of the city. It was consutructed by two muslim brothers and was the residence of the then, Prime Minister. Diwan Mohata Nathmal so, it is called as Nathmalji Ki Haveli.


It is a temple dedicated to God Vishnu and goddess Laxmi and is one of the popular tourist attractions of Jaisalmer.
